About Us
At Green Divers Barbados, we think the best way to experience the island is under the surface. From colourful reefs and historic wrecks to calm drift dives and curious sea turtles, every dive is a chance to slow down and reconnect with the ocean.
While we are a 'new' dive shop, our staff are not new to diving in Barbados. Green Divers was founded by seasoned PADI scuba instructors with well over 30 years of combined experience. We believe that protecting the underwater world is just as important as exploring it. Being “green” to us means diving responsibly, minimizing our impact, respecting marine life, and sharing that mindset with every diver who joins us. It’s about experience, intention, and stewardship — ensuring Barbados’ reefs and wrecks remain vibrant for generations of divers to come.

Our Story
Green Divers Barbados began with a shared passion for the ocean and a deep respect for the island’s reefs and wrecks. From the start, our love of exploration has gone hand in hand with a commitment to protecting the underwater world we call home.
After years of encountering the same cookie-cutter routines at dive centres across Barbados, we found ourselves craving something more — a thoughtfully curated, adventure-driven dive experience that values longer dives, smaller groups, and access to a wider range of remarkable sites. What started as two friends diving for fun grew into a vision to create a dive shop that feels personal and welcoming, built around exploration, education, and genuine connection to the ocean.
Today, we’re proud to offer safe, small-group dives and courses that allow you to explore Barbados beneath the waves responsibly, at your own pace.
The Green Divers Way
We believe diving should feel effortless — a mix of adventure, calm, and good company. That’s why we focus on small groups, expert guidance, and a friendly approach that puts comfort and enjoyment first. Protecting the marine environment is of utmost importance to us. You'll find the safest environmental practices are not only modelled by us, but also taught and reinforced underwater and above.
All of our courses follow PADI standards, taught with an easy island style — plenty of guidance and patience, no rush or pressure.
Through the Green Divers Club, our dive community, you can earn free dives, join monthly meet-ups, and take part in clean-up dives to protect the reefs and wrecks we all love. Every dive with us is about more than just exploring the sea — it’s about sharing it, caring for it, and making memories that last.
