Discover Scuba Diving (DSD)

Service Description

Discover Scuba Diving is the perfect way to try scuba for the first time and experience the magic of the underwater world with no prior experience required. Under the guidance of a PADI Instructor, you’ll learn a few basic skills, get comfortable with the equipment, and enjoy an easy, shallow dive in the calm waters of the Carlisle Bay Marine Park. This program is not a certification, but an introductory diving experience designed to be safe, fun, and relaxed. You’ll complete a short safety briefing, practise a few simple skills in shallow water, and then head out for your first real dive on one of the bay’s famous reef or wreck sites. All course prices include PADI eLearning, so you can complete the theory at your own pace (and seek physician's approval, if necessary) before you arrive. Upon booking, you will receive an email containing a secure payment link for deposit. This deposit is required to confirm your reservation and to provide access to the necessary eLearning materials. Divers must be 10 years of age or older and present a completed medical form. Ask us about our Upgrade Discount available to divers that choose to do the PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water Diver certification with us after completing the Discover Scuba Dive. ~All prices are in USD~
