Service Description

The DSMB Deployment specialty teaches one of the most essential skills for open-water and drift diving — deploying a Delayed Surface Marker Buoy from depth. You’ll learn safe handling, spool and reel control, buoyancy management, and emergency use procedures. This specialty improves your safety and confidence on any dive where boat traffic or drift conditions may be present. E-Learning is not required for this certification. We would encourage you to review your Advanced Open Water Certification – DSMB Section instead. Upon booking, you will receive an email containing a secure payment link for deposit. This deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Divers must be 12 years of age or older. ** Our Complimentary Refresher Course is mandatory for all divers who have not been diving in over a year. This refresher helps ensure you are comfortable completing essential skills with our equipment and up to date with safe diving practices before your dive. The refresher is offered at no additional cost and will not take away from your dive packages.
