Green Divers Barbados is looking for a passionate, professional Divemaster to join our team. We're a boutique dive operation — small by design, high-standard by choice, and we're looking for someone who shares that philosophy.

 

About the Role

As a Divemaster with Green Divers, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, memorable, and environmentally responsible dive experiences. You’ll assist instructors, guide certified divers, and help foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere for guests from around the world.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and guiding certified divers on reef and wreck dives

  • Assisting with training courses and student divers

  • Supporting daily dive operations (gear prep, tank handling, boat/shore logistics)

  • Promoting eco-conscious diving practices

  • Participating in and helping run our Dive Against Debris clean-ups

  • Creating a fun, professional, and safety-first environment for all guests

What we offer:

  • Guaranteed 4 days per week

  • Up to 3 dives per day, paid per dive

  • Compensation commensurate with experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Active Divemaster certification (PADI preferred; other agencies considered)

  • Active status with up-to-date EFR/CPR & First Aid

  • Strong diving skills with excellent buoyancy control

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with great customer service skills

  • A genuine passion for ocean conservation

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends

  • A genuine willingness to learn and be coached — our standards are high, and we take that seriously.

  • Local knowledge of Barbados dive sites is a plus

Part-Time Admin Assistant

At Green Divers Barbados, we’re building more than just a dive shop—we’re creating a community of ocean lovers dedicated to protecting what we explore. As Barbados’ first PADI Eco Center, sustainability and innovation are at the core of everything we do. We’re looking for a tech-savvy, organized, and proactive Part-Time Admin Assistant to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

 

About the Role

This is a part-time position, primarily providing weekend coverage. You will be supporting the day-to-day administrative and digital operations of the dive center. You’ll play a key role in helping us stay organized, responsive, and efficient as we grow.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing emails, bookings, and customer inquiries

  • Assisting with scheduling dives, courses, and staff

  • Keeping records up to date (customer info, waivers, certifications)

  • Supporting social media posting and basic content updates

  • Helping maintain our booking systems and digital tools

  • General admin support to the team

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong tech skills and confidence using digital tools and platforms (Google Drive, Wix, etc)

  • Highly organized with great attention to detail

  • Friendly and professional communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and work independently

  • Experience with booking systems, email marketing platforms, or social media tools is a plus

  • Interest in diving or ocean conservation is a bonus (but not required!)
